Remote Desktop Connection: Change Saved User Name

PURPOSE: Access a Server/Application using a Remote Desktop Connection with new/different User Name and Password

AUDIENCE: All iVisions connecting via "Infinite Visions Accounting"; Anyone accessing a server via Remote Desktop

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Double click on the RDP icon on your Desktop for specific applications (ex. Infinite Visions Accounting) on the Desktop or  if accessing a Server open the Remote Desktop Connection app from the Windows Search
   • If a Remote App pop-up screen comes up, select "Connect"
     
      
2. On the Windows Security screen, select "More Choices"
   
    
3. Select "Use a different account"
   
    
4. Type in your desired User Name and Password
   
    
5. Select "Ok" to access the Server/Application
