Benefits of your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your Tulsa Tech account, helping to keep your personal information and access to services safe. Here’s how MFA helps protect you:
- Provides extra security when logging into important tools like Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive), Blackboard, and your Tulsa Tech email.
- Requires not only your password but also a second method of verification, like a code from your phone or an app, to confirm it's really you.
- Keeps your account secure even if someone else knows your password by adding an additional step to verify your identity.
Students will use Pictograhs through Rapid Identity, and staff will use DUO for MFA. This makes logging in more secure while still being simple and easy to use.
