How to Claim Your Student Account in Rapid Identity Using a Claim Code

Requirements for Claiming a Tulsa Tech User Account

1. Claim Code Required: Students must have received a unique claim code from Tulsa Tech to initiate the account claim process.

   • The claim code is automatically generated and sent to the student's personal email address on file.

   • This email is only generated once.

   • If the you did not receive the email for any reason, please reach out to your instructor for assistance.

2. Internet Connection: A reliable Internet connection is essential to access the Rapid Identity portal and complete the account setup.

3. Email Access: Students should have access to a valid email address, which may be needed for account verification and recovery purposes.
    

Claiming Your Account

1. Check your personal email and ​​open the email from Tulsa Tech labeled "Welcome to Tulsa Tech." 

2. Within the email, locate the box that states "SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT".

   • Select and copy the "Claim Code" provided.
   • Click on the link labeled "Tulsa Tech Account Claim Page".
   
     USEFUL INFORMATION: 

   Please keep the initial email from Tulsa Tech for your records. This email contains important information, including your Tulsa Tech email address and Username, which you may need for future reference. Retaining this email will help you access your account details and resolve any potential issues more easily.

3. On the Tulsa Tech Claim Account page, click on Claim My Account.
4. On the next screen:
   • Paste the provided Claim Code into the Claim Code field
   • Review the Policy Manual and then check "I agree"
   • Click on the "NEXT" button
   
5. Choose a password that you will be able to remember.
   • Enter your chosen password into both the Password and Confirm password fields
   • Click the Next button
   
     IMPORTANT SECURITY REMINDER: 

   When creating your password, it is crucial to choose one that you can easily remember. Do not write your password down or leave it in a place where others can see it. Keeping your password secure is essential to protecting your account and personal information. Your vigilance helps maintain the security and integrity of our systems.

6. Retain your username for future use. Click the login link to login for the first time.
7. Type your new Username and click the Go button.
8. Type your password and click the Go button.
9. Select three pictures meaningful to you and that you will easily remember. You will use these for future logins. Click Go.
10. Welcome to the Login Portal Dashboard! You have successfully logged in. From here you can navigate to several Tulsa Tech resources such as the Student Hub and Microsoft Office 365.
11. To log out, click on the Profile icon and then click on Logout to exit.
12. Be certain to close your browser COMPLETELY to finish logging out.
