Enrole - Sales Desk: Courses Built in Error > Next Steps

PURPOSE: There are times when Courses are created in error, when this happens, they need to be dealt with within Enrole so Sessions cannot be built against them in error.

AUDIENCE: Enrole Power Users and District Registrar Office

OTHER SYSTEMS IMPACTED: Data changes in Colleague

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

If a course is built in error, and it HAS integrated to Colleague -

  1. Change the Status on the Course to "Dead"
  2. Add comment on the course of WHY the course should NOT be used in the future

If a course is built in error, and it has NOT integrated to Colleague - 

  1. Change the Status on the Course to "Dead"
  2. Verify there is NO GUID on the Course, then Submit a Help Desk ticket:
    • Subject: Enrole - Delete Course {insert course ID exactly as it is in Enrole}
    • CC: District Registrar, ACD Registration Technician, and the Business System Analysis'
    • Body: Please delete {insert Enrole URL directly to Course}; this course was built in-error and cannot be used due to {insert explanation of why it needs to be deleted}.
  3. Add comment on the course:
    • "This course was built in-error and cannot be used due to {insert explanation of why it needs to be deleted}. TDX Help Desk Request: {insert the Help Desk Ticket Number that is included within the auto reply}
