Enrole - Sales Desk: Session Built in Error

Purpose

When a session is built in error (Example: Invalid Session ID), it will need to be corrected within Enrole to prevent enrollments from being placed against the session.

A new session should be built correctly to accommodate existing or future enrollments.

Audience

Enrole Power Users and District Registrar Office

Impacted Systems

  • Enrole
  • Colleague
  • Blackboard

Instructions

IMPORTANT: We no longer "Delete" sessions from Enrole or Colleague when sessions are built in error, as additional issues occur which impact other systems.

When a session is built in error in Enrole, regardless of whether or not it integrated to Colleague, the steps below will need to be taken to ensure data between both systems is correct:

1. Change the 'Status' on the Session to "Closed"

2. Click "Edit" on the Session, change the field "Overwrite Session Status" to "Created in Error; Set to Pending in Colleague", then click "Save"

3. Add a 'Comment' on the session to state why the session should no longer be used.
